Monday October 3, 2016

FUSION is proud to announce that its MS-AV750 True-Marine Entertainment System was selected by the National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA) as the Product of Excellence in the category of Best Multimedia Product at the 2016 NMEA Conference and Expo. The award was presented at the convention, which was held at the Naples Grande Beach Resort in Naples, Florida, September 20 through 22. More than 450 leading marine electronics manufacturers, dealers, distributors, media and others from the United States and abroad attended the three-day event.

NMEA members selected the Product of Excellence Award winners through an online voting process. “As this is the inaugural year of the Best Multimedia Product Award, FUSION is thrilled to have won against some fierce competition,” said Chris Baird, managing director, FUSION Entertainment. “We believe we deserve this honor after the many years of serious investment and design excellence in building world-class marine entertainment products. It is humbling to be selected by our peers and industry professionals for audio excellence.”

The MS-AV750 approaches audio engineering from the perspective of the boat enthusiast and incorporates the latest marine technologies and environmental protection. The stylish and feature-rich stereo delivers an unrivalled fusion of form and function – never before seen in purpose-built marine audio. Offering superior playback of DVD’s, CD’s, USB, Apple iOS and MTP Android/Windows media devices, the MS-AV750 features internal Bluetooth A2DP audio streaming capabilities and Pandora radio support with “Thumbs Up/Thumbs Down” voting available right from the front face of the MS-AV750.

The HDMI connector with built-in audio return channel (ARC) enables the MS-AV750 to distribute audio from the connected TV through the entertainment system, resulting in a home theater-like experience on board. The easy-to-use FUSION interface allows browsing or streaming of playlists while on the water with track and album data displayed on the optically bonded color LCD display. Multifunction display control is also available on NMEA 2000 networked devices using the award-winning FUSION-Link protocol.

Additionally, the MS-AV750 can be controlled wirelessly using the new FUSION-Link remote control app via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi from supported smartphones. The app is available for free download from iTunes™ or the Google Play™ store. The MS-AV750 offers support for up to four independent audio zones, each with volume control options, which are adjustable independently or globally. The scalable system allows for complete sound balance control for any size vessel, which makes the new series an all-in-one solution for entertaining on the high seas.

FUSION wishes to thank the NMEA members for their support. For more info on this award-winning audio entertainment system, check out
